What is included in my free delivery? +
  • Estimated two hour delivery window
  • Delivery to your chosen address and a specified room
  • Unpacking of the product, physical check and removal of packaging if requested.
How long will I have to wait for delivery? +

Our delivery team will contact you the next working day after your order has been placed. Delivery is dependent on where you live and the deliveries we have already scheduled, so an exact date cannot be given until you have been contacted by our delivery team; however this is not usually too long and normally takes place within five working days or less from placing your order.

Do you offer a “time Slot” on the day of delivery? +

Yes our delivery team will inform you of an estimated two hour time slot between 7:00am and 7:00pm so you're not waiting around all day.

Do you unpack the product and take away the packaging? +

Yes, the delivery team will unpack the product and let you check that everything is OK. Unless you want to keep the packaging, the team will take this away with them.

Can you install my new appliance? +

The delivery team cannot connect your appliance to the gas/electricity supply so you will need to make separate arrangements for this.  Gas installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified and registered “Gas Safe®” qualified engineers. Details of a local engineer can be found at www.gassaferegister.co.uk

Do you take the old appliance away? +

Yes we can arrange to take away your old product and dispose of it correctly through a recognised WEEE compliance scheme. 

The cost of the service is £48.00 (Inc VAT) and a request should be made to us at cookingsupport@delonghicookers.co.uk at the time of your order.

 Please note, your old product must to be disconnected from the gas and electrical supply prior to our delivery team arriving.

I have a difficult access into my home, what do I need to do? +

When the delivery team contacts you to arrange a delivery date you will be asked several questions regarding access to your property. In most circumstances delivery can be made by the regular two man team; however if you have a difficult property to access the delivery team will advise on the best course of action. In some circumstances an additional charge may be required.

I need to change my delivery date, who do I contact? +

Please contact our delivery team on the number provide in the confirmation email sent to you. Please ensure that you give the delivery team 2 working days’ notice of any delivery date changes

Does your free delivery offer cover all of the UK? +

Our free delivery covers the majority of UK mainland post codes.

Deliveries to the Highlands of Scotland and UK islands including Northern Ireland will incur an addition cost.  Deliveries cannot be made to Guernsey, Jersey or Southern Ireland.

Do you keep stock in the UK? +

Yes all our stock is held in the UK.

Why do I have to pay via PayPal? +

PayPal is one of the largest and most secure free online banking services for our customers and can process payments immediately, with instant email confirmation. We never see your credit card details and monies paid through PayPal is covered through their “Seller Protection Policy”

If your Credit or debit card is attached to a PayPal account then payment will be made through this account.

If you do not have a PayPal account then your payment can be made as normal with all major credit/debit cards as you would do with any online transaction.

I am having difficulty making payment online, who do I contact? +

Please check that your credit/debit card is not attached to a PayPal account and you are trying to use the credit/debit payment facility. If your card is attached to a PayPal account you will have to make payment through your PayPal account.

If your credit/debit card is not attached to a PayPal account then you can make the payment using the credit/debit card section as you would normally do for any online transaction.

I have placed my order, what happens next? +

You will receive immediate confirmation from PayPal that your transaction has been made. Your order will then be passed to our distribution team who will make contact with you the following working day to arrange a suitable date for delivery.  If you are not available to receive a call from our delivery team they will contact you by text or email with a unique delivery reference number and direct you to their secure web site at www.bookthedelivey.com where you can select a convenient delivery date.

On or before the day of delivery you will be given a delivery time slot so you’re not hanging around all day.

Our delivery team will then deliver the product into your property and will unpack it and let you check it over to make sure you are happy with your purchase. When you’re satisfied, you will be asked to sign for the delivery and the team will be on their way.

Within a few days of your order being placed you will receive an official UK VAT invoice from our company in Italy.

Why did I receive my Invoice from an Italian company? +

Our company is quite unique in that we manufacture in Italy and sell direct to our customers without the need to go through a costly distribution network, allowing us to provide quality products at great prices. Because of this business model our financial team are based in the factory and all invoices are sent from Italy, including UK VAT under registration number 868758254

Do you offer an Installation Service? +

No, we do not offer an installation service, as most of our products require installing by a qualified gas engineer. For a list of qualified “Gas Safe” registered engineers in your area please go to www.gassaferegister.co.uk.

I have received my appliance but it is not what I expected, what should I do? +

In the unlikely event that the product does not match your expectations please do not install or use the appliance and contact us immediately at cookersupport@delonghi-cookers.co.uk
